Reversing a Cornu 4 channel horn to a 4 channel T-Line - Advantages?

There is a huge successful discussion and builds on the "Ever think of building a Cornu Spiral horn? Now you can!" thread, started by Cal Weldon and then posts by XRK and others.


Why not reverse a "Cornu" from a 4 channel horn (2 sets at different lengths) to a T-Line with two sets of different length channels? A "Cornu" has a larger csa at the driver end and gets larger through 4 channels to the terminus whereas reversing it to a tapered T-line would have a CSA that would get smaller to the end. CW suggested that I start a new thread about this.


I also would like to know the advantages of not having the terminus at the end of the line like the picture below.


Let's see if there is any interest in pursuing something that I have not seen discussed.
