Help with Sony XA50ES

This xa50es worked flawlessly until yesterday when, after several hours of use, it started to jump at the beginning of the disk. This does not happen every time. It can play perfectly a cd, then at the next, after several tracks it jumps right at the beginning. It is not cd related. While it jumps, the display and all leds turn off for a second, like the player would reset itself or there is a sudden power cut-off.
Any ideas or suggestions? I am desperate to get it working.

First thought would be to check for any poor joints on any regulator transistors/IC regulators and also check generally for dries.

All LED's going off suggests the above is a likely cause.

Look at the last two images in post #1 here which show typical dries and what to look for.
