Tube audio nuts are probably drooling just thinking about the quantities of 6922 / 6DJ8's in that place.

Anyone remember playing the "shoot" and "weather wars" games on the Tex 4052 computer? Two of them can be seen around the 6:52 mark.

For $10K in the late 70's it certainly wasn't a home computer, it was a 16 bit machine in an 8 bit world. We had one at work and the Tek guy gave me a games tape. After a few thousand rounds of Weather Wars the world image (seen on the second machine in the video) began to show permanently in the screen and we certainly didn't want the bosses to know what we were doing with their $10K toy, so we quit playing WW.

$1 for signing a patent over to TEK? At least we got $1500 at Motorola, but mine were all a few years later than 1962, maybe Tek upped the game by the 1980's.
