Well, I guess I should be a good do-bee (sp?) and introduce myself.
I am an EE by trade and a music-lover so DIY audio falls out as a logical hobby. Before being exiled to Tucson to work in the semiconductor business I worked for the HP (Agilent) division that made the mostest cool toys for LF (aka audio) measurement. Of course that was a corporate split and several reorganizations ago.
My interests are "mostly everything" - digital because that's the way music comes these day, analog because it's so much fun and you can always improve on what you did before, and Ambisonics because it's the only correct way to do "surround sound".
My main limitation is that I have 4 kids and thus almost zero time to persue hobby projects.
