Got here a:

TC-K 990 ES starts only on REC no mather what the posion is preset: REC, OFF, PLAY!

What could it be?

Solved it! WD 40 sprayed on the contact of the comuter and moved it left to right to remove the oxidation on the contact of the comuter! Works fine now! Thanks! Thread closed...
