My whole house is wired for audio. Most rooms have speakers in the ceiling and a control panel on the wall. The only input is in my office where I have a Windows based server plugged in. The line simply goes from the sound card into the wall and anything that plays on the server can be heard in the house.

I need a Bluetooth transmitter to sit in between the server and the wall input so that whatever is being heard in the house can also be heard outside on portable BT speakers. Does something like this exist, and could you provide a link to an example? I would want something powerful as far as BT range goes.

Thanks!

Something from this Parts Express page might fill the bill:

Specifically:

Re-reading your message, I wonder how the music is being transported around your house?

We're not familiar with any Bluetooth to TFM (Total 'Bleeping' Magic) adapters.

The Avantree is a 3.5mm line-level device, and while I'm hoping you use Ethernet as a transport, your post implies some sort of analog audio distribution.

Cheers

Jim
