I took hints from the IRAUDAMP9 reference design and decided to add DC Protection and High Output Peak Shutdown (HOPS) for TDA7293.
The DC protection will save expensive loudspeakers while the HOPS will enable me to get rid of the R-C across the speaker and diodes from output to supply rails. (This should allow me to test the TDA7293 as a current driver as well)
I have added this to the MUTE and St-by circuit of the TDA7293 and with a bit of modification can be adapted to any amplifier.
