I have read many threads on PC sources but there does not seem to be a clear consensus on even a collection of 6+ or so software choices for a PC Windows based media player and/or music server to output music via USB for it to them be converted and re-clocked and passed on to an amplification chain.
I am looking for a software package to output the data for it then to be ODAC'd.
If there are better PC sound cards that do a better job of sending along only the data stream for further conversion, those suggestions are welcome as well.
Any recommendations or suggestions would be most appreciated!
