Currently collecting some components to build a small DAC and the BOM calls for:

3 pcs LE50 voltage regulator

I have found these ones:
LE50CZ - STMICROELECTRONICS - IC, V REG +5.0V, TO-92-3 | element14 Australia

Can anyone recommend a more modern or less noisy alternative which is pin-compatible?

17 pcs 100nF SMD1206 ceramic capacitors

Both ceramic & tantalum versions are available - which are more suitable?
