A stoutly built, full Tim Rawson construction F5 clone is offered for sale. Very few hours (less than 20) on this amplifier, as it was used in a bedroom system. Heavy aluminum face plate, large heat sink fins, and stellar sound. Please email with any questions at pkpickard at gmail dot com. For sale for $450, not including shipping/packing. I will happily deliver the amp for a local sale in the Raleigh/Durham area.

Any bare metal conductor between the mains input and the transformer is potentially life-threateningly dangerous. All such connections must be electrically insulated. And mains earth must be securely and directly connected to the metal chassis. Again, this is for safety reasons. All of this should not be taken lightly.

pictures are everywhere , if you know what to look for

so - you need to solder proper wire to mid pin of mains IEC and to connect other end to bottom plate - best to solder eyelet on it , then screw to bottom plate

other two eyelets on IEC must be isolated - best with heatshrink , but if already soldered - make that with electrician isolating tape

to avoid hum problems , when amp is connected with (also safety grounded) source , you must have NTC of 10-15R between audio GND ( main gnd point on cap pcb) and case
NTC - search for CL60 ....... lemme try ........ here it is : http://www.ge-mcs.com/download/temperature/920_325a.pdf

after that - spread the word what piece of drek you paid for
