I have a tube output transformer that I just picked up at a surplus store. It has all the hallmarks of a tube p-p output transformer in terms of output lead arrangement, and has EIA606-142 stamped on one of the end bells. From what I can tell after a Google search, this may be an output transformer from a Carvin amp of some sort. The heft and size is considerable, suggesting a capability of 50-60W or so. Does the part number ring a bell with someone who knows more about Carvin Amps?

It looks to be the output XFMR of an old Carvin 60W X-series, which took two EL34s. I'll drag it into work some time this week and suss out its vitals, though I would guess it to be around 5k plate-plate. This might make a nice monoblock for use as a modest sub amp.
