Ok,
1. would you like to have it as caps and coils - something you hide in the cabinet?
2. Would you like to have it electronic so that you can adjust the XO frequency?
3. Do you know the frequency you want to XO it at?
4. Do you have another amplifier that you can run the woofer with?
5. Have you considered a plate amp?

Ok, this makes more sense. You don't want to cut this off at 30 hertz, more likely around 100. You know I think since you already have another amplifier that you need something like this:
Reckhorn.com
It's relatively cheap for what you get. Can you tell us what the amplifier you are going to use is? You have a preamp to run both amplifiers?

I am getting a bit of a complex being called sir. Please refer to me as Cal or Gordon.
If you are not familiar with the inside of an amplifier then a PLLXO might be out of the question so now we need to find you a parts store that sell big caps and coils. Too bad, this is going to get expensive. Do you have any other info on the speakers? What make and model are they? We need some more specs.

This is about as affordable as we can make it for you. If you have one woofer you'll need one of these run in series
Erse Super Q 13mH 16 AWG 500W Inductor
and three of these run in parallel, shunting the woofer
68uF 100V Non-Polarized Capacitor

targa x-120-i DVC... umh how about this caps are they usable? Cal ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting
