Multi-tap Transfomer

Dear All,

I've few multi tap transformer.

12 - 25 - 35 - 50 - 0 *

12 - 25 - 38 -0

48 - 13 - 0


Which one do you think is suitable for lm3886 chipamp?

*Does multi-tapped transformer act as center tap if split into half of 50v become 25 - 0 - 25 ?

How to test if it can be use?

If that's a 0-12-25-35-50 transformer (one continious winding) then you can use as a 25-0-25
the 25 tap becomes the 0 (centre tap) and you get

25-12-0-10-25 as the tappings

Now I'm worried about winding of the transformer, whether it is balance or one is slightly higher than the other. I hope it;s not a big problem.

If that's a 0-12-25-35-50 transformer................the 25 tap becomes the 0 (centre tap) and you get
25-12-0-10-25

tiny arithmetic error.
Gives 25-13-0-10-25Vac

Are these open circuit voltages?
Are all the wire taps the same diameter?
What portion of the total VA is available from one winding?
