I have a DH-101 as well and I am trying to learn some electronics. It looks to me that it's tone control is bypassed by having a 10Meg resistor to discourage any current flowing into the tone control circuit, right? Did the original poster want to completely remove the tone control circuit?
Then, I think it means removing:
R23, 24, 25, 28, 29, and 34.
C15, 16, 17, 18 and 19.
But I am just learning so take this with a grain of salt. But it looks like the Hafler DH-101 uses a James-Baxandall passive tone control circuit.
Am I on the right track?
