Faceplate was created with "Card Maker 2.0("Zweckform"-program), and printed with HP-DJ970Cxi (ink-jet) on common office paper (80gr.). Glue was transparent spray lacquer on chassis first, than on paper for protect color and printing.

Great looking amp and looks really well built! Do you have any sound clips of it working? It's just that the pre-amp uses valves different from the ubiquitous commercial use of ECC81 and ECC81s and I'm interested to hear the results

No, amp is now testing at my friend (much better guitar player than me!), but I'll tray record some clips when amp back to me.

Can you explain the effect level control. It looks like it actually adjusts a parallel "dry" path? I employed a parallel loop in my amp but could not find any schematics. I used a "blend" control to combine the paths after the loop (and a boosting stage immediately after the effects.)

Is there a standard name for the approach you are using for the loop and it's adjustment? Is it based on a particular amp? Is the signal it sends out to the effects unit too strong if the preamp is set high?

Effect level control simple shorting cut more or less any signal from effect input to output. Works good with any line level (or higher level signal) effect.

The photos may not be the best quality, but your building skills are inspirational. You managed to make all this almost without a pcb! Do you have a sketched layout? I am also starting to make a small push-pull guitar amplifier.

No, I did not sketched layout. 2 small board in amp are not PCB, only board with hole raster. Parts on the boards are soldered and connect with wires.
