caps for mcintosh mc2105

Hi
I want to refresh the caps of my mc2105 !
the original caps are GE 39000uf 40vdc 3'd x 4'h
I found at ebay 2 mallory caps 56000uf 50vdc 3" Diameter x 3 1/2" Height .
Can i use thos caps to replace the original caps ?

Yes,they should work.
Just keep an eye on the turn-on surge,and the rectifiers,since they are almost 2x as large.

If you are replacing reservoir caps, technically speaking, there should not be any issue.
