Help w/fixing counterpoint Sa7 preamp

I don't have any real schematic except for one that someone posted on here that they had hand drawn. Problem is this. I have 310vdc at the tube sockets. The resistor that is inline with the B+ coming off of the power trafo likes to get cookin' hot.

Is anyone familiar enough with this piece of gear to help me out. I had a thread going at audiokarma.org but we kind of ran out of ideas without someone being more familiar with the gear.
