TubelabSE phase

I'm trying to pair a couple of subs w/ my full range horns, and was wondering how to set the phase on the subs.
My setup is... source - splitter - tubelabse & subs

I think it sounds best at 0 degrees, but its really hard to say. At one polarity there seems to be more low bass, and at another there seems to be more mid bass.

So, I guess to answer my question, does the tubelab SE output the same polarity as what is input, or does it invert the signal?

Thanks!

The TubelabSE should not invert the phase. Really, like most two stage amps it inverts twice, thus having a total of zero.

I have discovered that many OPT's are wound so that they may invert the phase. Without having some experience with your particular OPT, I can not say for sure whether you have zero, or 180 degrees.
