My DIY Subwoofer -Focal 30a1

Heloo. I`m new in diy audio...i have bought focal 30a1 subwoofer for car audio...

I used chipboard 18mm, it`s cheaper and still good..The box is tuned to 50hz whit this port and has 45,210L.

psu and amplifer. amplifer is kenwood kac626 for car. i used an psu power supply for computer it`s chiftek 400w... on 12V it has 25A but i don`t believe.

For finish i use cotto veneer and oak lacquer i think. The bass i bad meening good. I can`t stand next to him

I`m thinking to make a low pass active filter...but i have time later...

So what do you guys think?

Hi, for 45L vent tuning at 50Hz is far too high, 30Hz to 33Hz IMO, /sreten.

Great job. I have made subwoofers for HT with two Infinity car sub drivers. I could try what you have done.

yes, yes. i forgot to say. The box should be tunned for 34hz but i didn`t found appropriate bassrefleks, i will extend existing bassrefleks with plastic water pipes.
