Hi everybody
I'm in the process of finishing the modding a Philips CD600. I built a 5V Jung regulator (among other things) and now I'm thinking which of the digital IC's to regulate with it. Choices are:
- regulate the DAC (TDA1543) only; pro - noise from other IC's doesn't get to it; con - the SAA7310 is left powered by the 7805, thus power rail noise poisons the clock -> extra jitter (using Kwak Clock by the way)
- regulate the SAA7310 too - better clock but digital noise gets to the DAC
What would you choose?
Thanks.
