Help!...it hertz

Hi everyone,
I just bought my first fullrange drivers.1958 Wharfedale Super 12/FS/AL with no surrounds.I ask myself,why do I always buy basket case electronics.I guess I like to see if I can get them working again.
I have never repalced surrounds before.Are there any kits just for this driver out there?Or maybe a universal kit?I can't wait to hear them.I imagine a nice warm tone coming from them.
Any guidance would be awsome to this new lost guy.

foam surround kits

don't know anything about doing it, nor this vendor, just a quick ebay search.

I am sure Madisound , etc, would sell something similar.

I used surrounds from this guy: Woofer repair and it worked great. They even come with an instruction video, that explains very well how to do. ( it was my first time). Took me about 2 hours to refoam two 8" speakers.

Also try NewFoam. They can even supply a video. BTW- the video is ALWAYS on special offer until the end of the month.

In that case, i'm confident that you will find it quite easy to refoam, as you're not afraid of sticking your fingers in unknown territory

Thanks again for the help.I went with Newfoam because of there convenient calling hours.I had to work the new surrounds a bit,they were a bit small,but it worked out well.

Good news! Coyuld you let us know how they sound, once you've driven them a bit?

Will do.So far they sound awsome and dynamic with jazz and blues but a little harsh with rock.I'll give them a chance to loosen up a wee bit.
