I was just surfing and found Erno's latest achievments. Of cource all mosfet/jets style.
It would be interesting to compare it against, Mr. Tent's and from MInnesota Engineering. The future URL is: http://www.borbelyaudio.com/EB-906/255 At the moment you can find info here: http://www.borbelyaudio.com/whats_new.asp

if you have a stack of AudioXpress and The Audio Amateur you can probably find the Borbely all fet regulator.

I like the fact that Borbely's new regulator is a
super shunt reg. It seems that Tent's reg is "only" a shunt reg. Or? Also, Borbely's super shunt reg can handle far more current than Tent's regulator, and also more input voltage and one can get the important - to me - 24 V output voltages. Price tag difference is also large. Minnesota Engineering's Super shunt looks good to me. Not as good as Borbley's but good. Here's Borbely's super shunt reg and here is Minnesota Engineering's super shunt reg: Sigurd |

Hi Sigurd,
did you compare different Borbely regs in your system? Rüdiger

Hi Sigurd,
I just see on Minnesota Engineering`s web site original schematic of super shunt regulator & I see capacitor C4=100nanoF not 100uF. Do you use in this place really 100uF ?

How easy is it to actually source the (FETs) used in (any of) Borbleys brilliant designs.
