Hello, I am trying to construct this psu from Gyraf.dk - http://gyraf.dk/gy_pd/calreq/minipsu.pdf
I switched the ac ties to the bridge (I am using the DF04M) and a hammond trannsformer 164h20. When it is assembled I get +28vdc and -.00 something. what gives? I have built this twice to try to figure it out, but I am not that advanced yet. Can anybody help me or suggest a different schematic? Thank you! |

ok, I read up a little bit and I connected the ground going to the bridge from the ct of the tranny. (Duh, you say??) And I have now +15vdc and -8.9. I think my 7915 may be in backwards, but It is hard to tell, I am really dislexic! The 7815 is installed the same way and it works fine, but the 7915 is super hot and not outputting correctly. weird. I made a pcb from the gyreaf drawing, but like I said I swapped the inputs from the ac to the bridge.
