Dear all,
In my searching for a so silent as possible powersupply offcourse we tried several solution's. Oa. the Jung super regulator etc. The last one seems to work verry nice in some aplication's. My question is as follow. I'm not that home in to all the standard voltage regulators available in the markte today. The 78xx/79xx series suck. Then we have the LM337 etc. but still not good enough. What is the best voltage regulator today availible? Is there something that have a Jung super regulator alike inside? Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Bas |

Hi,
Borbelo & Jung are the two I know about in this league. I would not expect anything of this quality to be buried inside a chip.

the LT1763 and LT1964 from Linear Tech are very, very much quietre than the LM3XX regulators.
TI also has some very quiet regulators but their website is such a mess you'lll never be able to find them. Quietest voltage reference -- Thaler Corp -- http://www.thaler.com/ |
