Looking for a Power Supply Design for use with DIY DAC's either weblink or book. I'm trying to come up with my Circuits dont really want to use someone elses design. since i feel i takes aways from the whole diy thing. I'm not agenst the use of proven Designs or Circuits. just wanted to build one of my own. if you guys can help with info please post thanks

It all depends on what part of the DAC you are talking about. I don't use the same regulator for the analogue and digital stages.

If you have any ideas post them. from what i have read one to power the digital and one for analog is the norm. would it also be possable to use one large supply for the whole dac?

Also how are you guys setting up your powersupplys for your DIY DAC's. I know some of you have tube stages. the dac im looking to build will not use tube's. what alternatives do i have.

There are probably no answers because this topic has been covered in depth here. I searched and found 179 threads that mention it, just in digital.
