I am thinking of purchasing a Pioneer VSX-D912 from the US (I am in Australia). I would like to know if there is any conversion possible within the PSU (ie: is there a 240v tap on the primary of the transformer) I believe there is no switch (120v-240v) on the chassis. In Australia, all Electronic equipment have a switch, 240-120v. Not sure why this is?....Could anyone help.
Thanks:(

Even if there is no such switch, you can buy a 120-240V adaption transformer. If you have 60Hz in your mains, the 10Hz difference is not such a serious thing to pay your attention on.
I had a similar problem when I bought a notebook in America: there were no switches on it's SMPS, but the power switch. So I bought a 50W 240V-120V transformer (from ELFA if I'm not mistaking).
