someone raised the question around December -- whether you could obtain simultaneous positive and negative regulation from one chip. Turns out that there is monolithic chip-solutions -- on the Linear TEch website for the LT1683 low noise gate driver -- there are positive and negative feedback points for the voltage regulation. The setpoints for the two regulators are diffreent.
