Default Power supply regulators

Hello.

I have a question regarding preamp power supply.
I'm using a rec. diode bridge followed by big capacitors,
and then 317/337 regulators. Now, I'v got to pcbs:
one for the supply, and the other for the preamp itself.

It may seem obvious to some, but:
Idealy, do the 317/337 should be on the preamp pcb?
or should I put them on the supply pcb?
(The distance between the two pcb's is something like 30cm)

Help whould be appreciated.

Thanks,

Udi.

Power supply regulators
Keep all the power supply bits on one board. Just make sure you decouple any power supply pins on op-amps in your pre-amp.

I agree keep 'em separated, especially keep the xfmr away from the preamp. Follow the data sheets for input/output caps for stability.
