Awright, I´ve searched the boards on the zen for the last three hours. Many many questions and problems have been answered/solved by prior (that´s something like before, right?) postings.
But there´s still one problem left :dead: POWER SUPPLY, always a tricky choice.

OK, I have got a transformer out of some Sony-Surround-Somethig with quite a few amps and a secondary of 45-0-45 (there´s a 25-0-25 too, but I won´t be using it).

My question is: What if i ground the center-tap and bridge-rectify both 45V-secondarys seperately (this means using two bridges)?
(Just like the suggested supply:

http://www.passdiy.com/images/projects/z1-fig22.gif ,

but only one primary and a center-tapped secondary.)

Will there be two +60V, or will there be one +60V and one -60V?
Is it better to ground the center-tap before or after recitifying (is that spellt right? is spellt spellt right?)?:xeye: ?

I am thankful for any suggestions. I am also thankful for this forum, seriously.

:hohoho: , David
