Does anyone have a PCB lay out and part list for a 5 volt linear PSU. It does not matter that the parts are expensive?

If you let people know where you are then someone may be able to help you better.

For example, if you lived in the city where I am I would be able to supply you with something for a very reasonable price.

But you would still have to provide some more details. ( as rayma stated )

I live in Damark. I have a transformer so I need a rectifier, capacitor and regulator. What I'm looking for is pcb lay out and the values on the components.

What are the power requirements of the supply ? What are the AC voltage inputs ?

In Denamark it's 230V. 1½ A

Or What is the output of your transformer?

At least I hope the transformer output is not 230V.

Ok The out put on the secondary is 9V

2 A as i rembember. And i want the psu to deliver 1A

So, you will want a bridge rectifier using 5A+ diodes, a 2200uF filter cap (1500uF min ), a V7805-200, and an output filter on the 5V.

Or you can use a linear regulator and dissipate about 5W in heat. There are a few of these around.

I do not think I have any regulator boards with integrated rectifier and filter caps but I will look.
