My DCPP has been running great until today - I switched it on and no sound cometh...
Investigating I noticed:
- heaters working fine
- no hiss coming out of the speakers as the valves warm up
Opening her up I noticed a _slight_ smell that something had been hot.
And that the Drain on the FQPF8N60C MOSFET (Q2 on the schematic) regulating the B+ had become disconnected... I guess that explains the lack of sound.
Assuming there was no arcing, would it be OK to reconnect without replacing Q2 or any of the surrounding components? ie, RT1, C6 or R21?
