Any smaller alternatives to the Placid HD Bipolars?

Hi,
the shunt regulated power supplies from Twisted Pear are great, but the Bipolar HD is simply too big to squeeze it into a CD Player or into a smaller case.
I did use the first versions, they were great in that respect.
I already asked Russ some time ago if some boards of the first version were avaulable,
but they are completely sold out.

So are there smaller power supplies availabe from other manufacturers?
