Distance to and from transformer and filter capacitors

I have a 1500 VA transformer that consumes a lot of space in a chassis along with some 3x9 inch capacitors and am wondering if there's any negative interaction by having them close to one another, like say a half inch or so.
Thoughts experience?

Check the temperature of the transformer and close by capacitors. Heat makes electrolytics age faster.

This is those kind of situations where actual numbers matter and you ask "is the issue big enough of a concern?"

I have seen switching power supplies with Teapo caps next to the heatsink. Well the Teapo caps did bloat and die eventually, but the Rubycon replacements don't.

In my case they'll be running, if you can imagine like a soda can lying down across a donut. Wondering if there's emf issues and the like. I don't think there's much in the way of heat problem.
