I doubt it can pick much emi because of the low impedance of windings, electrolytic caps and hf caps.
On the other hand, I am sure it can launch much emi because instantaneous currents are huge when diodes as conducting ( for a short time in the periods of the power mains ).
This is why the charging circuit for the PSU capacitors must use separate wires/traces from the wires/traces feeding power to the load.

This brings another question....How to implement signal ground, power ground and chassis ground ? if not, all confused at a star ground.
A small question inside: With an input via an RCA plug, is the RCA ground at chassis ground OR the RCA ground isolated from chassis and connected to signal ground ?
Don't mix up different circuits.
Consider ONE circuit at a time. Remember that any and ALL current fed from a Source MUST return to that source. Draw that circuit. Find the Flow and Return Routes. Make them close coupled. Do not take any part of that route to some remote star.

Some circuits need to have a voltage reference.
You can add a voltage reference link. But that link must not create a loop.
eg. the input circuit to an opamp or power amplifier needs a voltage reference to the output circuit that feeds AC to the load.
That is a single wire reference link that carries virtually zero current.
