Since the tread of Salas is so jam-packed, I'd like to not to recap the previously discussed inside the tread dedicated to the Salas shunt. Both Salas and WaveIO are quite popular over here, so I thought it could be a good idea to have a thread dedicated to this issue.
I would like to dive into the possibility of reducing the shunt in size as well, or at least having it more 'fitting' or following the shape of the waveIO board.
Have anyone did this before, what would be the settings for the shunt and wouldn't it be something to - because Salas and waveIO are an obvious match - build it with fixed resistors (instead of variable resistors)?
I'm curious and excited to dive into the world of shunts and regulation, and about what this could develop into. Many thanks!
