Power supplies aren't my speciality by any means so thought I'd ask here for some ideas...
I'm looking at playing around with some Class D amps (most likely Hypex-based) for use in car audio. So I need as an example, +- 50V DC power rails.
Easiest solution but not elegant and not DIY and probably the least efficient: use an inverter then a normal 230V AC SMPS to give me the required voltages.
Second easiest solution but relatively costly, buy something like the Coldamp CPS80, but it's out of stock, and I would prefer a self-build.
