hi guys and gals
I have a problem with a humming sound. the receiver is a kenwood kr-v8060. I have sound to the speakers but the humming gets louder as I turn up the volume. I thought the filter caps were bad in the power supply. they were 7500uf 71 volt, replaced them with 10000uf 80 volt. still get the humming sound.
any thoughts
Kenny thank you

Generally, power supply reservoir caps being low in value would give a hum which does not increase with volume.
If the volume pot affects the hum then the hum is getting in at or before the volume pot. Do you have a circuit diagram? If so, can you read it? Do you have an oscilloscope and know how to use it?
