First off, hello from a new member. I have a question regarding a power transformer I am salvaging from an old Admiral 5N3 amplifier. It looks like this will work, but will require using the two green taps for + and - 6.3v (leaving the center tap unused) to get a 12.6v for the heater input on the Glassware PS-4 power supply. What effect on the current supply from the power transformer will this have? Not sure if it will remain the same (appears to be 3.6 amps current draw on the Admiral or will halve the amount? Thanks!
