Default About AV receiver power cable?

I got a new used receiver, came with no power cable. Now I have to get one, I wonder if there is a standard or something like that? How to determine?

Actually don't know what kind of cable I should buy. Now I use a computer power cable, seems working.

Thanks/

look up the model number and then see if you can find a manual for the receiver. It may just have a 2 prong cord. TO determine how thick a power cord you need I believe most use 18 guage the "bigger" ones, 150 watt per channel 7 channel receivers might use 16guage.

thanks, at least I knew what guage cable should be ok for the 120w/c 7.2 ch receiver.

Does your equipment have a standard IEC power input socket?
