Default 100 VOLT 20 AMPERE POWER SUPPLY

we are thinking to use maida configuration of lm317 but we couldnt decide how to increase the current value to 20 A. here is the link of maida configuration http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snoa648/snoa648.pdf

Any help will be apreciated.

This SCR pre-regulator keeps the filter capacitor Vc, in a variable output power supply, a few volts above the output voltage V0.

It gets complicated but here is how to increase current capability and include current limiting as well.

The HP 6286A power supply uses a tracking preregulator.
