Default question about Black Pulsar power supply from THEL

HI Everybody
Did anybody tried or tested that powersupply ?

Class-A Netzteil in Akku-Qualität, mit elektronischem Shuntwiderstand, die audiophile Masterversion eines Netzteils - Klasse-A Netzteil

I am looking to buy the best power supply to build a preamp.
thanks for your help
Phil

That is a horrible example of a bad design. It is a constant current shunt regulated power supply. It is not very stable and produces excess heat.
I thought these sorts of regulators were obsolete back in 1960!
Forget the constant current supply, use a standard LM78** LM79** with plenty of HF decoupling. That is all that is required.

What voltage/current do you require? Check out Vellerman Kits. https://www.vellemanusa.com/locale/
