Glassware Janus Shunt or regulated B+ (like Salas) for tube headphone amp?

Hi all,

I'm in the planning phases of revamping a headphone tube amplifier and it sorely needs a new, quiet power supply. The amp will need about 300 VDC B+ and will draw about 85mA for all 3 tubes (2x EL84, 12AX7). The headphones are some sensitive Sennheiser HD580's.

Would I be better off with something like the Janus Shunt regulator from Glassware or a shunt regulator like the Salas HV or KandK regulator with a tube rectified raw power supply? I'm not finding too much feedback on the first option. I'm looking for something that will minimize line noise but still provide enough punch when needed for the current and voltage swings of the EL84's.

Thanks.
