Does anyone know how to calculate inductance on a etd34 core ?
I cant seem to find any spreadsheets or info on this.
I have a etd54 core used for an llc smps and that is about 50uH per turn.
I could of course just suck it and see. But it would be academic to know how to work it out.

150uH wanted on etd34
You need to know the Al value for the ferrite material you have. Here is a chart of Al values for Ferroxcube ferrites and ETD34 core.
Turns = 1000 x the square root of (L in mH / Al in nH)
For 3C90 ferrite, Al = 2700
You want 150uH = .150mH
Turns = 1000 x the square root of (L in mH = .150 / Al in nH = 2700)
Turns = 1000 x the square root of (.150 / 2700)
Turns = 1000 x the square root of (.000,055,6)
Turns = 1000 x (.007,45)
Turns = 7.45 turns, for 3C90 material and ETD34 core.
