Hi,

I have a PS3 PSU rated at 12V @ 32A that I'd like to re-use to build a Hifimediy TK2050 T1 amplifier.

The T1 requires 24V - 39V, and their reccomended SMPS is a £40, 300W connexelectronics module seen below
SMPS300R 38V 230V power supply

My question: Can I use a DC-DC step up converter like New 150W DC-DC Converter 10-32V to 12-35V 6A Step-Up Adjust Power Supply ER99 | eBay or should I just buy the reccomended SMPS?

Or 600W 10A input 10~60V to 12~80V DC-DC Boost Converter Power Supply Step up | eBay

Just as an extra - the amp will be used to power a set of Swans M1B - these are 8ohm speakers with a max power of 60W
