Those are sucky sommeliers. Anyone with an MS or MW (or even someone juding at OC or Cal State Fair) will have passed a blind tasting screen.

Ok Cobra then that should be fine. But you have no regulator ? I wonder why the difference occur. I prefer E I or Rcore instead off toroid.

And LM317/337 regulated...
Even "so far away" (~1,5m, +filters & regs) from the audio-circuit...there was a change.
(The C-R-C in external box, C-R-C + regs in riaa-box - C=10 000uF/R=6-8 ohm)
