Where to buy power supply AC 17V, 8VA
 

To replace standard wall wart. Put my hands over a phono stage I like and would like to push it to the next level. If branded products do not exists, I can consider DIY built. Ideally from Europe.

Is the 17v ac or dc????

Specs says literally: power supply: AC 17V 50/60Hz : 8VA
To check once more I looked at the wall wart, Its marked as output 17 VAC 200mA.

A 16Vac or 18Vac will probably do the job just as well.

What does the phono stage do with the AC after it arrives?

that bottom pic shows the PCB and the wiring.
You need to be able to see the same. Then you can work out where the AC goes and what is done to it.

Considering my weak knowledge and sealed boxed, i will give a try to open andin case succesfull will report back. Thanx so far
