I'm looking at the Hammond 269AX to run a headphone amp. The current of the filament windings is listed as 2A, while 3 E88CCs (6 filaments) at 365mA per filament will draw 2.19A. Are the Hammonds in this range over-rated any, where I am safe using the 269AX, or do I need to keep looking? I really like the 269AX because it gives me everything in one xfmr, and it's readily available.
Wishing I had a junkbox full of old iron right now

It should be fine. I'm drawing more than the rated current from my Hammond too.
