Gooday all,
I need some help here from the knollegeable people plse !
I got a toroidal transformer and the plastic coating covering the transformer has been removed. I have tested it and it still ok. Some of the secondary windings is a bit loose and I think they might buzz or vibrate when it has to deliver current. How do I fix that ? Paint the transformer with varnish or can I use resin( used for cable joints) to cover it. I' m just afraid that the resin might keep the heat inside and cause it overheat. Any suggestions plse.

Regards
Jan

dip it in electrical varnish let all the bubbles come out
take it out to dry.
repeat a few times until the whole transformer is completely full of dried varnish.

To do this properly you should use a vac/vac impregnation procedure, but that requires resources.
