What topology?
What output power?
What input voltage?

dont know about topology but i need output power of 1000watts with an input voltage of 220volts.....i'm new to smps....i had seen several designs using the ir2110 and sgs3525....and thought of building one of those...so asked for a little help

Gaps are usrd in flyback topology and are generally used only to about 250 to300W.
My recommendation is to use a full bridge topology which would be more efficient at that power level and not require transformer gaping.

can this topology can handle pure rms1000watts output.....if yes can u give me any of the design which i can try....for start i need a simple design....give the required info with all the characteristics....
warm regards
