Default Power transformer question

In the picture below, there is the primary side and the secondary side. My question, what are the 6.3V/1.2A and 6.3V/3A windings on the primary side for? I've seen that before and not sure I get it. Are those additional windings on the secondary side? If they weren't there it would make perfect sense to me. Thanks.

A transformer does not have primary and secondary sides, only primary and secondary windings. Strictly speaking, even that depends on how it is wired as the primary is the winding connected to the incoming power. However, the winding which is intended by the designer to be used as the primary is often called the primary winding even when a particular circuit uses it as a secondary.

The transformer you show has one primary winding and five secondary windings.

Think about how a transformer is made. Its just multiple wires wound around a core. There can only be one input (primary) so all the other coils are outputs or secondaries. (actually, any coil can be the primary (if the insulation can handle the voltage) but the transformer will not usually work as well).
